  • How do I become a seller on 1stPrint.net?

To become a seller, simply visit seller.1stprint.net and sign up for an account.
Follow the registration steps and start listing your books/cards!

Listing Items

  • What do I need to do before I can list products?

Before listing any products, you must provide a payment method to receive your funds in the "Profile/Payment Details" section and complete your seller profile in "Profile/My Account".

  • How do I list an item for sale?

To list an item, go to the "Products/Products Listing" section and fill in the required fields.

For 1st Print books:

- Include a clear photo of the printing number to prove it is a first print edition.

- For new sealed books, ensure the sticker on the back of the book showing the printing number and date is clearly visible. (Example)

Listings without the printing number will be removed. (Graded books are not subject to this rule.)

For TCG cards:

- Add high-quality photos of the front and back of the card, and for graded cards, include an image of the grading label.

 

  • Are there any fees for listing items?

Listing items on 1stPrint.net is free.
A commission fee of 8% is charged on each sale, which is significantly lower than the nearly 15% charged by eBay, plus $0.30 per sale and monthly store fees.

 

Managing Orders

  • How do I manage my orders?

You can manage your orders through the "Orders" section in your seller dashboard.
Here, you can see all your pending, shipped, and completed orders.

  • How do I handle shipping?

Once an order is placed, you will receive shipping instructions.
Ensure your books/cards are well-packaged to avoid damage during transit.
The packages should be sent with a tracking number, which must be entered into the order management field.

It is strongly recommended to verify whether the value of the package is covered by the carrier in case of loss or damages. If the package is lost or the item is damaged during transit and the buyer requests a refund, the refund will be issued. Therefore, ensure that you can claim compensation from the carrier in the event of a problem.

 

Payments

  • How do I get paid?

Once the item is marked as shipped, the transaction funds will be added to your seller account. The payment to the seller will be processed 3 days after the package is delivered to the buyer, provided no complaints are made regarding a different item, counterfeit, or other issues. This is the only way to ensure safe transactions for both buyers and sellers.

For people outside Japan, only PayPal will be available to receive payments.
You will need to upgrade your personal PayPal account to a PayPal business account, but this is extremely easy to do.

  • Are there any payment fees?

There are no fees other than the 8% commission retained when a sale is made.
